Maesot biblical Training Center Up-date

MBTC was founded June 4, 1994. It is located in Maesot town on Thai-Burma border in Tak province northern west Thailand.

MBTC was started in nine small bamboo houses with grass roofs. As the Lord has provided, we now have 15 acres of land, seven concrete buildings, six houses half concrete and half wooden and one wooden house for a total of fourteen buildings and houses for class rooms, boys and girls dormitories, married housing, cafeteria, and houses for faculty/staff.

The school is producing well-trained evangelists, ministers and leaders of local churches especially for those who do not have high school education. In Thailand, because of poverty level, less than 1% of the modern young people in the village can attend high school. Therefore, this school was established for the people who do not have much education. Many of them can not even read and write in Thai which is the official language of Thailand. We firmly believe that the gospel is not only for the educated. Therefore, we need workers for the Lord from different levels of living standards.

The school motto is “You will be my witnesses to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

The students who come to MBTC work really hard in their studies and also proclaim the gospel to people in surrounding villages in every weekend. Most students' life was really changed as they met Christ at MBTC through study the word of God and deep devotions. So, MBTC is becoming a place of dig deep the word of God, a place of changing life, a place of knowing Christ better and a place of going out for the gospel of Jesus our Lord.

The school requires a student to be trained at the school for three years and awards a Diploma of Ministry. The first graduation of MBTC held on February 14, 1998. Fourteen graduated at that time. Nine classes have graduated since then and seventy three graduates are now serving full-time ministry in local churches. Many others are serving in Bible training schools and orphanage centers while others are traveling to villages all over northern Thailand to proclaim the gospel of Jesus our Savior to the people who are lost.
We are expecting more students to come. Please pray for MBTC so that we can send out more laborers for Christ’s harvest field. Many young people and adults want to come, but have no money for tuition. Most students need financial assistance even at only $350 for a year in MBTC. Please pray for these needs. The students want to go out to share the love of God with others who are dying without Christ. Through their efforts many souls are won to the Lord.
